After the worldwide release of their new album "Zero Nexus" (latest release 2008-05-30) the band got the touring-fever. At the "Hammer Battalion Tour" together with UNLEASHED, KRISIUN & ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET the guys of Shade Empire will start their first European tour. "The ABANDONETTES have some good and bad news to deliver:
First the bad news: Konrad 'Konny' Cartini, the original ABANDO-drummer, will lay down his drumsticks immediately due to sexual differences! Gone are the times of spontaneous stand-up comedy and delicate drumming that enriched each single live gig and our records... The reason for all this: Konny's gonna be a daddy for the second time! Seems like it's time for him to take care of his kids before they end up like him, haha! We'll miss you, brother!
But ABANDONED wouldn't be ABANDONED if we had no equivalent successor for the no longer vacant position (which indeed is the good news)!
We are proud to announce that Sven Vormann, drummer par excellence who played in DESTRUCTION and JESUS CHRYSLER SUPERSKUNK in the past, has just joined the ABANDONED family. We're looking forward to the first shows introducing the ABANDONED Mk.II-Line Up on Headbanger's Open Air and many others to thrash your fuckin' socks off and to record our next album in true ABANDONED fashion by the end of the year... yeah!"

Kärtsy Hatakka of WALTARI to produce next SILENTIUM album!
Recording sessions for the next SILENTIUM album is booked and scheduled starting with choir (Jyväskylä Female Choir) and orchestral parts. The band's effort will be taped during the summer. The producer for the next album is the multitalented main man of Waltari, Kärtsy Hatakka.
Sami Boman shares his thoughts: "I'm truly excited about the opportunity to work with Kärtsy. He's incredibly innovative and unbiased approach to music makes him second to none. He's able to recognize the bearing thoughts behind SILENTIUM's music, whether it's a fragile and delicate stream of sound and atmosphere, or an immense and downright brutal sound mass. We all admire and appreciate the commitment he affiliated this project with, the instant flow of ideas was a most pleasant surprise for us all. I can't wait to get to the actual studio work! I'm absolutely sure the results will be nothing short of magical."

Since their founding in early 2004, FACE DOWN HERO represent straight, modern thrash metal. Influenced by classic Bay Area thrash as well as more recent bands they manage to create a self-contained style and sound. After a press-EP and some month after their debut "Opinion Converter" in 2007, the band entered the Gernhard Studio in Siegburg/Germany to produce their successor "Where All This Anger Grows". This record shows the band from a more aggressive and darker side. With this album FACE DOWN HERO prove again that it's possible to combine hard music and melodies without following any trend. FACE DOWN HERO is first of all one thing that you can't find very often in this times ... they are absolutely real!!! So, watch out for the hero ...
